evil-appleI admit it... I'm an Apple biggot. That's a very different thing from being an Apple Fanboi, in fact it's pretty much the opposite. Till now, my stance has always been about the way Apple restricts its customers to its walled garden, and that's been a personal preference that a not-insignificant number of people obviously don't have any serious problems with. But I've been increasingly of the opinion that Apple has replaced Microsoft as the more agregeous offender of corporate control and domination... till now.

Software Month - A Heavy Load PDF Print E-mail

HDR_with_onOne_2_of_2June seems to be a month for new releases, or at least updates. I'm counting Adobe CS5 in this, and then along comes Adobe Lightroom 3 and onOne's plugin Suite 5. All in, there are way too many apps to thoroughly test and look at, but as a starting point, I wanted to just put Photoshop CS5, Lightroom 3, and onOne's plugins together in some way to see how and what they could produce. So, this is not an in-depth review, but more of a quick look at how the products work, and work together.

Photoshop CS5 - Puppet Warp Strange but Wonderful PDF Print E-mail

This is the 3rd in my series of 5 reviews of Photoshop CS5 features. This one is about the puppet warp feature that lets you bend parts of your subject at will. It's one of the more scary features, since you can make your subjects appear in positions they may not physically be capable of achieving. See what you think.
