Slowmo_topI spent some time reading through Trey Ratcliff's StuckInCustoms.com latest posting, and was fascinated by some of the images he's produced. But that's nothing new. Trey has developed a master's expertise in HDR imagery, and I've followed his work there. But this is a different kind of imaging altogether.

Phone Switching PDF Print E-mail

google-voice-mobileThis month, I've cut my phone line. Actually I abandoned a traditional POTS phone for my business a few years ago. Since then I've used a variety of VoIP providers including Packet8 and Vonage. I've been able to keep the same phone number by transporting it to each successive provider. As of yesterday, I've moved from any kind of cable based VoIP, and so far (one day's experience) I'm mostly happy with what I have.

Connected Camping - Again PDF Print E-mail

Camping in the mountains of North Carolina is always a joy. This week we are just outside Boone, NC, at Honey Bear Campground. We were here last year at about this same time of year. It's only about a one hour drive from home, but feels like a different world altogether. The campground advertises full hookups and free WiFi, but having used many 'free WiFi' installations in campgrounds around the country, I was prepared to get what we paid for.
