Although this step makes it look super-simple to open the Shuffle, it's not. It took us a good half hour of prying and heat-gunning to open the little guy.
Pro tip: Aluminum gets hot when it's heated! Author:John Biggs |

Remember Cave Story? Two dudes (George & Jonathan) have spent the last 5 years cranking out tunes using Cave Story’s music engine, Piston Collage — and hot damn, these are some ridiculous tracks. When people come over to my apartment, they gather after a few minutes that I like games, because there is a Super Nintendo on my coffee table. |
The digital watch is back. Seiko's new Active Matrix EPD watch will get you excited about non analog quartz timepieces once again. Digital has been here all along you say? Yea, that is true, but no self-respecting watch lover would wear one unless doing the laundry, mowing the lawn, or engaging in some other highly pedestrian activity. Go to any country that is "watch civilized" (sorry fellow Americans, that doesn't include the US at this point), and wear a digital watch in a business meeting or with a suit. Sure that was OK in the 1980s, but that was 20-30 years ago. This new product from Seiko reintroduces you the hassle free lifestyle of the digital watch in a polished, and highly functional little package. The holy trinity here is a great display, always accurate time, and a battery that does not need changing. Read on for all that it does below. Author:Ariel Adams |

appears to be at a bit of a crossroads. Howard Stern, arguably the company's most recognizable on-air talent, has all but decided to negotiate his new contract in public, recently stating that “I do get a little charge out of thinking that in December we might be done. I get a little turned on by that.” Mere negotiating tactics, or a genuine feeling of wanting out? Who's to say? I'm certainly no mind reader. Stern's current contract has him making around $100m per year, and that's something Sirius XM would like to change. Author:Nicholas Deleon |

The price of the is being rolled out as slowly as the device itself; pegged it at €700 to begin with, or £679, or several other wildly different numbers — and then a Samsung exec flipped everyone's bit by saying it would sell for under $300. It's clear that it'll probably be available both with and without a carrier picking up the tab (so to speak), but pricing for wireless data is still worth checking out. Author:Devin Coldewey |
